South Koreans now rank second among 35 Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) countries for most hours worked with below average compensation and low productivity, OECD data from last year shows. But service-related and small- and mid-sized firms are crying foul.
"It's hard enough finding workers as it is and I think it's going to be even more difficult now," says Ko Sung-min, a printing business owner. "At this rate, I think it will be hard to continue my business."
