Non-Tech Firms Winning Millennials' Hearts

Millennials are often pegged as tech-savvy, and assumed to focus their careers on technology-related industries. However, some non-tech firms are winning over this generation. So reports Australian Financial Review (AFR).

Mecca Brand, Mars Australia and Campbells Arnott's are some non-tech firms that are winning over Millennial recruits. What these companies are getting right is finding ways that appeal to Millennials beyond the paycheck.

"Progressive employers understand that keeping Millennials engaged takes an approached centered on capturing their hearts and minds," the AFR reports. "Doing the right thing, that is having a positive impact on their career, wellbeing, family priorities as well as the community and even planet, matter to the majority of Millennials."
