Chatbot Lends HR In India Some Help

Shashank Jain oversees 25 employees at Oyo Rooms, a hospitality company. Amber, a chatbot, provides Jain with online insight and feedback that helps him better gauge the pros and cons of his leadership. So reports Live Mint.

Amber joined the HR team and is powered by artificial intelligence. Amber's only job is to collect employee survey results and compile reports for the chief technology officer or HR head.

"If there is a red flag like attrition risk highlighted by Amber, we take immediate action," says Anil Goyal, CTO at Oyo. "If there are yellow flags, we know we need to keep a constant check. Otherwise, we collate the data to identify patterns."
