Aussie Telecoms Firm Vows to End Gender Pay Gap By 2020

Motorola Solutions in Australia promises to end its gender pay gap by next year. So reports Human Resources Director.

The gender pay gap in Australia now stands at 21.3%, ranking it 49th globally, Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) notes. “We have to sustain and improve opportunities and participation for women throughout our company,” says Elise Mann, human resources director at Motorola Solutions. Motorola Solutions aims to hire a greater number of female graduates. It also is focused on making diversity a priority.
