Aussie HR Startup Hits A$100M Valuation

An Australian human resources startup reached a valuation of A$100 million last month after gathering in A$22 million in a third-round of fundraising. So reports The Sydney Morning Herald.

“We’re not focused on raising capital again in the next few years--potentially ever,” says Ben Thompson, chief executive of Employment Hero.

Employment Hero will use the money from its latest round of fundraising to expand its ‘Worklife Passport,’ a digital device workers can carry from job to job to keep tabs on important employment and superannuation information.

"If they [workers] had all of that in a digital wallet that they could have with a single click, it would be a great benefit," Thompson said.
