Civil engineers and salespeople are among the four job skills that will be highly sought out by employers in New Zealand over the next year. So reports Scoop.

Construction managers and DevOps professionals round out the four jobs that 49% of employers have prioritize for permanent staff hires, recruiting expert Hays notes. Of the more than 900 New Zealand employers with over 259,000 staff who were polled as part of the yearly Hays Salary Guide, 53% rated technical skills as most important for effectively overseeing a department.
