HR Manager Denied Promotion, Files Discrimination Compliant

A human resources manager for the the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs is alleging discrimination after being passed over for a promotion. So reports The Cap Times.

Laura Tetting filed a complaint alleging potential discrimination based on her Native American heritage, her gender, her age and her own fight against alleged discrimination at the agency towards other staff. Tetting also said she was denied the job, which went to a white male veteran, because she was not a veteran.

The Veterans Affairs Department disputed Tetting’s allegations and responded that she committed dozens of errors at work and never notified management of cases of discrimination that other employees faced.
