Sex Harassment Scandal Slams Grand Canyon Park Staff

The superintendent of the Grand Canyon National Park retired amid complaints that he failed to act forcefully against sexual harassment allegations. So reports National Parks Traveler.

A human resources worker at the park spoke with investigators of a “‘laissez faire’ attitude of ‘what happens on the river, stays on the river.’” A woman staffer said of some male colleagues “that women on river trips were forced to ‘walk the line’ between ‘not being hated and not being desired.’” She resigned due to overwhelming stress.
