“Co-workers spend more time together than with anyone else, so it makes sense that feelings might develop between two colleagues,” Rosemary Haefner, chief human resources officer at CareerBuilder, tells Bloomberg BNA. “But sometimes, these workplace connections come with some risk.”
Nearly 50% of employees were unaware if their companies even had a dating policy, a CareerBuilder survey from last year found. But one line that should not be crossed when it comes to amore is with the supervisor/employee because it "can disrupt the office, harm teamwork and lower morale,” Haefner says.
