Last year, women made up 40% of new hires, and women now make up 28% of its executive ranks, 25% of its global management committee and 30% of its external board of directors. Among the steps Accenture has taken to reach its 50/50 gender goal by 2025 are entrusting its most senior women with more responsibilities:
- Launching programs, such as Women in Technology, to help women learn valued skills
- Being more transparent
- Partnering across different businesses and government to encourage gender equality
