The 76ers selected Mikal Bridges, a native son of Philadelphia, who was the 10th-overall pick in the recent NBA draft. Bridges' mother, Tyneeha Rivers, vice president of HR for the team, told ESPN after her son was selected that "it's amazing."
"It's an experience I'll never forget," Rivers said. "I'm so excited he's coming home to be part of our Sixers family. It's amazing."
But 46 minutes later, the team traded him to the Phoenix Suns.
