Workers in the U.S. who take home US$60,000 or less in base pay will qualify for a US$1,000 payout, while the amount of cash awards will vary depending on pay rates in other respective local markets globally, Chief Executive Michael Corbat told staff in a memo seen by Reuters.
The global lender aims to make the “vast majority” of payments this month.
