Bosses Cool on Providing Feedback: Survey

A survey from Eagle Hill Consulting shows an overwhelming number of employees value feedback of their work performance, but only 44% of those employees reported receiving regular reports of their work. So reports Human Resources Online.

Further, 40% of the respondents reported their company does not have a “culture of feedback.” A majority of those surveyed indicated they preferred daily or weekly feedback and would prefer the feedback in person, rather than via email or phone.

“Waiting until the annual performance review to have conversations about strengths and areas for improvement just doesn’t cut it any longer in the fast-paced, competitive environment organisations face today,” says Melissa Jezior, president and chief executive officer of Eagle Hill Consulting.
