HR Manager, 2 Others Fired, Charged for Recording Sleeping Coworker

A human resources manager and two other Wyman-Gordon employees were charged with allegedly recording a sleeping coworker without his knowledge. So reports the Telegram & Gazette in Massachusetts.

Matthew Domenico, a human resources manager with the company, along with Eric J. Smith and Brian Gaudette, who also work in the HR department, will be arraigned Feb. 24 in Westboro District Court.

Mark Ferguson, a former plumber was allegedly fired as a result of the video. It is illegal to audio record someone in the state without their consent. The camera they used recorded both audio and video, however they contest they did not know the camera was capable of recording audio.
