Sleeping, Living in the Office a Sign of Productivity in China Tech Sector

Workers in the Chinese technology sector have taken to sleeping at work to cut commuting time and to recharge during increasingly long work days; a practice that is becoming common thanks to a tech boom. So reports NBC News.

One worker described the competitive nature of the technology sector as even more intense than in the U.S. and some workers actually live at the office during the work week. The practice, though, of working such long hours warrants daytime naps and sleeping in the workplace has its costs, with workers reporting little time for socializing, romance and their families.
