HRE Names Top 15 Women in HR

Human Resource Executive has put out its list of the top 15 most powerful women in HR, noting that, in general, women are at the helm of big-company HR departments at a growing clip. So reports Human Resources Executive Online.

Nearly half of the Top 100 biggest companies, according to HRE, feature a female head of the HR department. That's up 58% from ten years ago. First presented in 2005, the list has many new names on it, with only two names still there from a decade ago. However, both women; Mirian Graddick-Weir and Kathleen S. (Katy) Barclay, are with different companies.

HRE asked each of the 15 woman three questions: "What has been your greatest HR accomplishment? What has been your greatest HR challenge or obstacle? And what are your future goals?"
