Wells Fargo Employee Alleges Banking Giant Did Not Pay Overtime  

A Wells Fargo & Co. employee has sued the banking giant, alleging that it has skipped out on paying overtime to hundreds of staff in its U.S. branches. So reports Reuters.

wells fargoThe lawsuit comes as Wells Fargo is confronting an intense effort from its workers to unionize. The class action suit alleges that the bank improperly referred to “senior premier bankers” as management-level staff who federal and state laws exempt from overtime pay.

The lawsuit calls for unspecified damages, penalties and legal costs. Wells Fargo did not immediately respond to Reuter’s comment request before publication deadline.
