GM HR Head Gone After Eight Months

The chief human resources officer for General Motors left the auto giant in February, ending a stint that lasted just eight months. So reports Automotive News.

Jose Tomas said he left his position for "personal reasons." When Tomas started in July 2017, he replaced the former HR head and GM vet John Quattrone. Tomas held top HR positions at health insurance giant Anthem, and Burger King.

GM named Kimberly Brycz as Tomas' successor on March 12. She had served as GM's executive director of global product purchasing and first came to GM in 1983.
