That promotion bumped up Cindy T. White's salary to $105,000 a year at Diversified Foods, but the scheme started to unravel when she could not live up the stolen LinkedIn profile resume qualifications and started to delegate responsibilities to others. A jury found White guilty of theft of identity in April.
"That's not this person," Assistant District Attorney Casey Dieck said in his opening statement. "This person stole the victims' hard work and used it to get a six-figure salary and benefits to boot."
White may get up to 10 years in prison.
