The corporate review site Glassdoor has compiled a list of the 25 best jobs in terms of work-life balance. At the top of the list: Data Scientist, with a 4.2/5.0 work-life balance rating. That was closely followed by SEO (search engine optimization) Manager, at 4.1, and Talent Acquisition Specialist, coming in at 4.0 on the balance scale.
Average salaries and available job openings for the 25 entries vary quite a bit. Some of the diverse finalists on the list (some more surprising than others) were: Social Media Manager; Substitute Teacher; UX Designer; Marketing Assistant; Risk Analyst; Civil Engineer; Client Manager; Research Technician; Content Manager; and Lab Assistant.
Glassdoor’s requirements for jobs that made the cut are fairly stringent.
