The consultants promise to help recruits learn how to keep their composure and ensure their facial expressions are interpreted as positive by the bots. One consultant, Park Seong-jung, says he had conducted 48 lectures last year that included more than 700 university students, graduates and lecturers.
“AI is becoming a trend,” Park says. “South Korea also has a serious youth unemployment problem and competition among students is very fierce. We help students overcome and succeed in AI interviews by preparing them for job analysis, introducing themselves, and gamification.”
