The same survey of 1,000 individuals in Australia from December 19-28 also found that 39% of workers were not happy with their current jobs and that 54% were contemplating a career switch this year. Workers age 18-29 were most likely to chase their entrepreneurial ambitions, with 48% of this group considering abandoning traditional employment for the entrepreneur path and to seek out a career that provides greater flexibility in 2020.
But, despite these dreams, 62% said that the costs of starting their own business had kept them for pursuing that route. Meanwhile, 40% said that it was tough to find advice and guidance.
