Working Overtime... to Figure Out Overtime

It used to seem so cut-and-dried. Blue-collar workers were eligible for overtime pay; white-collar employees weren't. Union members? Slam dunk. There were people who were "exempt" from earning overtime, and "non-exempt" folks who were eligible. So reports CNN Money.

Now, as with so many other time-honored workplace traditions, it's being called into question. From the Department of Labor to the U.S. Supreme Court to President Obama himself, the idea of who's eligible for overtime pay is being re-examined.
