It's been cited in a spike in teen suicides; highlighted as an underlying cause in some mass shootings in schools; and generally sounded alarm bells for parents everywhere. Now, however, it appears bullying may be equally prevalent in the workplace – perhaps even more so.
According to a survey published last month by the Workplace Bullying Institute, a staggering number of employees have either experienced or witnessed abusive conduct in the office. And a movement to pass "healthy workplace bills" is gaining momentum in a number of states.
