GM Korea Workers’ Union Demands Hugh Bonus Despite Big Losses

GM Korea’s labor union is insisting on a 500% performance-based bonus even as the auto giant lost nearly $475 million last year. So reports Business Korea

The 500% is on top of a demand for about $140 in additional basic wages for this year. The union also has called for the retirement age to be bumped up to 61. Of Korea’s five automakers, GM Korea was the only one to post a loss last year.
