Laura Hanson, who leads Sphera Solutions HR team, has worked to ensure a smooth transition after her firm recently acquired Rivo Software, a U.K-based software company.
Part of her mission is to join the firms’ common cultures and ensure that recruitment efforts remain top-notch. “One thing we do early on, which we have learned from previous ones… [is] we find out if there is a culture miss,” Hanson says. “Assuming you have a good culture mix, then part of it is just highlighting what parts of the culture are alive and then reinforcing it.”
