Human resources professionals want those 50 years old and older to know they are prized and should take steps to showcase their value to potential employers. So reports CNBC.

Older workers often have a level of experience that recruiters have a harder time finding in younger talent. "They bring so much experience...They're very stable and very reliable and help us develop and mentor our younger workers," says Lydia Greene, chief human resources officer at Tufts Health Plan.
