Creating Harmonious Workplaces for Humans And Robots

Robots are often seen as a threat to replace humans in the workplace, but a chief human resources officer notes that both machine and humans can work side-by-side harmoniously. So reports Employee Benefit News.

But the Los Gatos, California-based entrepreneur and futurist also notes that there will need to be a shift in how robots are now perceived.

“From an HR standpoint, we’re going to have to create an environment where both can coexist,” she says. “The conversation to date has been to fear robots in the workplace because they’re taking away jobs. I think we need to flip it to that robots will be doing work that is less creative and human, and that our humanness actually becomes more unique.”
