Citigroup Shelters Staff In Offices During Texas Freeze

Citigroup turned its Texas offices into impromptu shelters for its staff last month as the state endured freezing temperatures that led to widespread power outages and cut off water service. So reports Reuters.

Citi“For our colleagues in Texas without power for days, our buildings continue to be available for those who need support,” Sara Wechter, Citi's head of human resources, said in a LinkedIn post on February 19.

Citigroup employs 8,500 in Texas.
