Results Trump Process in New Age of HR

Bradford Wilkins, a vice president of Human Resources Altisource, says results, not process, are driving the contemporary Talent Management conversation. So reports Forbes.

“Complex performance reviews that require a nuclear physicist to decipher won’t be tolerated," he says. "The annual review and bell curve is dead … Employees of ALL ages, not just millennials, will no longer wait for feedback that will help accelerate their 3 C’s – career, compensation and contentment."

Wilkins also says it is important HR and executive management define success in the same terms, and offered advice to the next generation of leaders. “Understand that something can be both easy and uncomfortable. Shifting your mindset, discovering a new way to approach a problem, or making difficult decisions aren’t always comfortable but they are usually easy.”
