Salary Workshop Aims to Close Gender Pay Gap

Women make less than 80 cents for every dollar that men make, but one woman is offering a workshop to help other woman learn the art of negotiation and close the pay gap. So reports the CBS News.

Megan Costello, who works in the Boston mayor’s office says that women make about a million dollars less than their male counterparts over the course of their careers.  She says the gap is even larger for minorities. Politicians have also made a point to address the issue on the campaign trail and in their official capacities.
