CharlieHR Nabs $1.4M in Seed Investments

CharlieHR, a London-based start-up HR platform for small businesses, raised a £1 million, or nearly $1.4 million, in seed investments from Connect Ventures and Seedcamp. Other investors include Nutmeg founder Nick Hungerford; Huddle founder Alistair Mitchell; Balderton Capital partner James Wise, and Songkick founder Ian Hogarth. So reports VentureBeat.

The company offers a free platform for small businesses to manage their employees and plans to generate revenue offering other services and products for businesses. More than 650 companies use CharlieHR.
