Duke HR Probes Women’s B-Ball

After two female basketball players left following the 2015-2016 season, the Duke University human resources department is looking into the women’s basketball program. So reports Sports Illustrated.

The school is conducting interviews regarding the alleged mistreatment of players during coach Joanne P. McCallie’s tenure. Azura Stevens, who led the team in scoring with almost 19 points per game, is transferring. Angela Salvadores, of Spain, is heading to Europe to play professionally.

McCallie is aware of the probe and “eager to assist” according to a statement from the school.
