Cloud-based HR software company SAP is merging two programs to help companies solve this dilemma. SAP’s core HR management system, SuccessFactors is being paired with Fieldglass, another application companies use to track contract workers.
“The linkup lets managers view data about the skill sets and performance history of external ‘talent,’ much as they would with internal team members,” according to the article. SAP acquired both software programs to stay competitive with Workday, as the two combine for 20% of the revenue generated from cloud HR management systems.
