Women Lacking At Top of NZ Workplaces: Survey

The largest survey ever taken of gender in the workplace in New Zealand revealed that women are largely absent among the top ranks of leadership. So reports NZ Herald.

The diversity report from Champions for Change had polled more than 80,000 employees and found that men made up 64.6% of board level executives, while women made up 35.4%. For C-Suite roles, including CEOs and COOs, men were 67% and women 33%.

For executives below C-Suite leaders and general managers, men comprised nearly 70%, while women were 30.5%. Women did edge out men, 51% versus 49%, in non-managerial roles.
