NASCAR Hosts Its Biggest Diversity Internship Program

The NASCAR Diversity Internship Program in May hosted its biggest class since it started the program in 2000. So reports ESPN.

That class included more than 30 students nationwide for the 10-week paid internship. The program aims to introduce diverse students into the motorsports industry.

"NASCAR is committed to enhancing diversity both on and off the track and the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program has opened doors for hundreds of students to explore a career in motorsports," says Paula Miller, NASCAR senior vice president and chief human resources officer. "Many of our interns have been hired as full-time employees and now are helping to lead NASCAR into the future..."
