Principal Tainted By Grading Scandal Lands HR Gig

The Atlanta public school board voted to hire a principal who last year ordered a secretary to give dozens of students the grade of "B," even though they earned a lower grade. So reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The former high school principal, Josie Love, will become the strategic director of human resources for Atlanta high schools. Rolanda Veal, the secretary ordered by Love to make the grade changes and who refused, lost her job after Love eliminated it at the end of last year.

Veal has yet to be hired for a new job in the school district. School district spokeswoman, Jill Strickland, said Love owned up to the mistake and was held accountable.
