HR Pros in Australia, New Zealand Trail Global Peers in Tech

When it comes to adopting technology in the workplace, human resources professionals in Australia and New Zealand are trailing their global counterparts. So reports IT Brief.

Sixteen percent of Australian and New Zealand HR leaders admit they don't use technology to bolster their goals. That compares to just 2% Japanese chief human resources officers who don't tap technology. ServiceNow, a cloud-based software company headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, conducted the research.

Meanwhile, less than half (47%) of CHROs in Australia and New Zealand says HR is a driver of digital transformation at their firm. That's compared to 64% and 65% of their counterparts in Singapore and Japan, respectively.

"HR leaders are creating a new employee experience as they realise that great benefits and cool office perks are no longer enough," says Pat Wadors, chief talent officer at ServiceNow. "Companies that don't offer this will find themselves losing out on, or struggling to hold on to, the best talent."
