Starbucks Pledges Pay Equity for Global Workforce

"We believe it is important to encourage others to join us in recognising the importance of this issue, not just for our partners, but for women all around the world." The firm refers to its employees as partners.

While Japan and China are among the markets that Starbucks will soon target for its equal pay structure, the firm did not give a specific date of when this would happen.
