The Work Style Reform Legislation limits overtime hours and became effective for large companies, while small employers will have until April 2020 to comply. Employers who violate the overtime limits could face criminal sanctions, including human resources professionals.

Another requirement means workers must take a minimum of five days leave annually if they have greater than 10 days of unused leave. This also is effective this month. One requirement that took effect April 1 mandates that employers track work hours for all workers, including those who are exempt, in order to stop them from overworking.
