Sharon Greene has worked for the city’s Human Resources Administration for 16 years. She ran into trouble for ending her shift everyday at 6:55 p.m., ignoring warnings from her boss to end work at 7 p.m. Greene also was cited for failing to sufficiently carry out her duties.
“The misconduct displayed in this case is extensive and egregious,” said John Spooner, an administrative law judge who recommended the demotion. Greene would lose $10,000 off her yearly $49,000 salary if she were demoted. Greene has fought back saying she is being targeted unfairly and that other employees also had clocked out at 6:55 p.m.
