HR Director In Clear After Scam Investigation

Snow fired Roberson the following month, but noted the action was not related to the scam investigation. Roberson said she had lost her own money, not public funds, in a scam from someone claiming to have lost his wife to cancer and who asked for help with medical bills.

"I'm just perplexed as to why there had to be an investigation," Roberson noted at the time. "I reported I was a victim of a crime. To me, that puts a question on my credibility."
