Diane Boulanger-Prescott is suing the Peabody School for at least $1 million in damages for breach of contract, wrongful firing, lost wages and reputation, failure to land a new job and emotional distress.
Boulanger-Prescott and her attorney allege that school officials fired her when she decided to tell the Department of Children and Families about alleged abuse by the classroom aide, who she claimed was “politically connected.” A Peabody city attorney said he seeks to get the complaint dismissed.
