UK Hospital HR Director Resigns Amid 11 Baby Deaths

A U.K. hospital human resources director resigned in May amid an investigation into the deaths of 11 babies and one mother. So reports the Warrington Guardian.

Roger Wilson, who led HR at Warrington Hospital, is being investigated for his actions over the deaths that were considered avoidable. Wilson had told the Health Service Journal last year that he "strongly refuted any allegation of impropriety."

A hospital spokesman confirmed that Wilson resigned May 4. "Mr Wilson was facing an internal hearing which is still in process and has not yet concluded, therefore it is not appropriate for us to comment further," the spokesman said.
