NFL Pride officially debuted Aug. 16 and will provide support for LGBTQ employees. It also will work with NFL executives on best practices around diversity and LGBTQ issues.
“Through networking events, speakers, community outreach and employee education, NFL pride will serve LGBTQ employees and their allies as they support a culture of inclusion,” the NFL Diversity Council wrote in an internal memo for staff. “All employees are invited and encouraged to join and participate in planning and/or attending events.”
