An investigation found that Christine Cushman committed 45 thefts from May 2015 to June this year totaling $919,301. Cushman worked for Highpoint Solutions in East Norriton. Highpoint’s payroll firm learned from a bank officer who “noticed suspicious multiple direct deposits of a significant size going into the defendant’s personal account,” according to authorities.
After Highpoint Solutions met with an East Norriton detective, an investigation uncovered that Cushman “was issuing fraudulent payroll checks in the names of four former contractors who no longer did business with the company.”
