Judge Rejects Ex-HR Director's Wrongful Termination Suit

A federal judge has dismissed a wrongful termination lawsuit from a former human resources director in Pennsylvania. So reports The Times Leader.

Donna Davis Javitz sued Luzerne County in December 2015, shortly after the county fired her in October of that year. Davis Javitz started working as the HR director in August 2014 an at annual salary of $55,000.

Davis Javitz alleged in her suit that the county fired her in retaliation for her attempts to have union leaders criminally investigated after claiming that they illegally recorded her conversations. County officials maintained that there was no retaliation against Davis Javitz after she sought out the district attorney's office to conduct the investigation.
