Ever Wonder What Sets Successful Entrepreneurs Apart?

It may have something to do with their early-morning routines. So reports Entrepreneur.com, which also illustrates this with an interesting infographic.

Successful entrepreneurs tend to wake up early (mostly before 6:00 a.m.); do some form of vigorous exercise, sometimes before or after meditating; have their own version of a healthy breakfast; and generally start their workday by 7:00, if not before.

From those common denominators, the profiles of rich and powerful moguls take a turn for the quirky. In keeping with his cinematic depiction in the film “The Social Network,” Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg wears the same t-shirt every day so as not to waste time on wardrobe selection.

Lord Alan Sugar, host of the British version of “The Apprentice,” takes a 50-mile bike ride through the English countryside – unless, of course, he’s headed for the boardroom by 5:00 a.m.

AOL chairman and CEO Tim Armstrong forces himself to wait until 7:00 a.m. to start sending e-mails, in recognition of the fact that not everyone on his distribution list shares his time zone. Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington, who has written extensively about sleep deprivation, meditates for 30 minutes, and even offers weekly meditation classes to her employees.

Creator and judge of “The X Factor” Simon Cowell is served a breakfast it might take a village to consume: hot water with lemon, papaya juice with lime, oatmeal, tea and three smoothies. You may or may not want to try some of these routines at home.
