Round Out Resume with ‘Skills’ to Increase Effectiveness

In addition to "experience" and "education," a skills section of a resume should be a staple for all job seekers. So reports Time.

Consider looking closely at the job description and browsing the LinkedIn profile of others who do the job you’re looking for in order to get a good idea the types of skills you should be highlighting. Also, including projects and interests, in addition to skills, could be useful.

"All in all, you should have two to three lines of skills, ideally broken up into sensible subsections, like 'Technical,' 'Courses,' and 'Languages,' to keep it all tidy."
