Experts Sound-Off on Future of Technology in the Workplace

The balance between emerging technologies and actual laborers is one that has occupied a growing number of HR executives, CEO’s and scholars. Cautious optimism is one opinion captured by at least a few experts, although there are risks associated with an overreliance on machines. So reports the BBC.

Dave Coplin, Chief Envisioning Officer at Microsoft UK said: “… we should never be thinking in terms of humans versus machines, and rather of humans plus machines,” referencing his expectations of the future of the workplace. However, there are opportunities to improve workplace flexibility and improve efficiency through the use of technology.
